Biography

Jürgen Gehr started his professional career in parallel to his studies of Economics in a consulting company with focus on business process reengineering and efficiency improvement.

Hereafter, Jürgen Gehr has been responsible for the conception and execution of several transformation processes in various companies. Part of his broad background of experience has been sustainable restructuring measures and strategic realignments as well as a series of M&A-Projects.

He headed several business units of a DAX company like the strategic controlling as well as the M&A department.

As Executive Director of a subgroup he successfully managed the strategic and organizational re-structuring of the holding and its seven subsidiaries. After three years, the subgroup had been adjusted to the new challenges and costs had been reduced by 40%.
