Rainer Thews knows the business of the retail- and service-industry since more than 20 years.
For more than 13 years Rainer Thews has been responsible for the retail-business in two big, national, retail- and service-companies in Germany, acting as Divisional Director and Chief Sales Officer. During this time he gained substantial experience in sales and sales-channel-management, in national and international expansion as well as in commercial leadership, restructuring and post-merger-integration.
Thereafter Rainer served many years as CEO in Germany, Regional VP in Central Europe and CEO in Istanbul in the office supply industry (B2C & B2B). His main focus has been in organic growth by increasing sales-performance and multi-channel activities, besides restructuring and change management. In Istanbul he established a new company in this segment and developed it to become market-leader within three years.
